In her quest for comfortable, flattering and affordable active clothing to be incorporated into her business venture, Faith Bevan realized there wasn’t a lot out there that fulfilled such a need. While at the Art of Vinyasa Yoga Conference in Miami, Florida, in 2006, the inspiration for To Each His OM was revealed. Ann was already making her fabulous mat bags and Carol’s creative genius was looking for an outlet. Diane, who had already started a successful fiber art business, jumped right in with ideas, creations and structure for the launch. Sarah, a regular at Flow Yoga, started showing some of the jewelry she had designed. These ideas collectively formed the heart and soul of To Each His OM. Our goal is to deliver the same passion and creativity that we envisioned at the outset straight to you, our customers.
Additionally, Because we believe in giving back, sharing and showing our gratitude, we have routinely participated in a wide variety of charitable events and we regularly donate a portion of our proceeds to the Women’s Resource Center of Tampa Bay.
FAITH BEVAN

CAROL KADER
Carol is a clinical microbiologist by profession and a crafter/artist by interest. After reading an article about using branches and leaves as positive stencils on clothing, she cut a large “om” positive stencil from artist paper and used a “thrift store” tee shirt to create the first of our clothing line. “To each his Om” was born from members of pur yoga family saying “I want one! Do you have tank tops? What about pants? Why don’t you sell them?” According to Carol, she is definitely not a business person, so she depends solely on Faith to do her marketing and to let her know when one of her designs will not work (especially when the “Hand of Peace” has six fingers).
It took several tries to find reaasonably priced, high quality “Made in the USA” clothing vendors. The clothing is made from 100% to 90% cotton with the remainder of spandex. Each stencil is hand cut and is inspired by everything from parking signs to pieces of sculpture and each piece is designed separately by hand in Carol’s home. The patterns are permanent and withstand normal washing without fading or shrinking. Many look alike but have subtle differences. The crystals, ribbons, gromets & labels are all created individually as well.
For your yoga practice, workout in the gym, or out to dinner. From my home to your mat, “Wear and be wonderful!”
ANN DELMONICO
The inspiration and creator of the yoga caricatures, as well as everything in our denim line, Ann has used the depth of her personal and professional experiences to bring uniquely creative items to the OM product line.
Currently a supervisor in a hospital laboratory, Ann is used to a highly regulated job that requires a microscopic level of attention to detail. To counter this mundanely regimented job, Ann uses her creativity to unwind from a stressful day and enjoy the beauty in life.
Ann learned how to sew in high school and has been creating new and unique pieces since then, from clothes and costumes to quilts. She has a knack for combining two already existing patterns to create something brand new and different. To further the items that she could create, Ann purchased a top of the line embroidery machine a several years ago. This opened up new possibilities for her creativity.
Keeping with the idea that resources are precious and conservation is important, Ann grew up recycling and reusing items in her craft. Most items that she creates were originally something else. She uses her craft to breath new life into items that would normally have been disposed of.
DIANE PREKUP
Florida artist Diane Prekup is a great believer in passion and dreams. “Art is both a passion and a dream,” she says. “If you follow your passion, you will be happy. If you follow your dream, you will be successful. If you follow both, you will be envied by all who know you.” Diane founded the name To Each His OM on a lark, she said it half jokingly but it had a certain ring to it. Her artistry and experience brings to the To Each His OM brand and other members a balance, she seems to know just what is needed, when, and how much. She keeps us on track with displays, shipping, traveling, and always has a smile and time for the unexpected.
She contributes the To Each His OM eye pillows with proceeds going to the Women’s Resource Center of Tampa Bay as well as scarves, her signature wearable art. Her one-of-a-kind creations are assembled with yarns, thread, bamboo, ribbons, silk, nylon, and velvet. She does not use needles, hooks, or a loom in creating her “gypsy lace”: Assembled and sewn, the fiber created is a web-like texture of yarns, suspiciously random in effect but purposeful in design.
An art director for 15 years, she made the transition 5 years ago from working with hot glass to working with fabric and fiber. In 2007, she was an American Craft Council NICHE Magazine Finalist in Fiber: Surface Design for her Velvet Shawl. She also won the People’s Choice Award at the 2007 Uncommon Threads Fashion Show in Chicago. She is a member of Florida Craftsman, Handweavers Guild of America, and American Craft Council and teaches classes in textile arts such as scarf painting.
In addition to her To Each His Om contributions, her unique creations have been featured at American Craft Council shows as well as in fine galleries and boutiques coast to coast.
